Heritage Museum Hydrangea Festival

The annual Hydrangea Festival returns, celebrating the iconic plant that makes the Cape so stunning from July through September. We will have a self-guided tour through the grounds to discover more about Heritages’  species and over 170 exceptional cultivars. The gardens are ablaze with abundant color in July with both perennials and annuals. The daylily garden is a feast for the senses with over 800 daylilies in a variety of color.   There are many lovely museums and a carousel for us to explore and a tram for those who need a ride.  We will also visit the Green Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen.  What fun to bring some jams and Hydrangeas home!
